Understanding the Role of an Eating Disorder Recovery Coach
As your Eating Disorder Recovery Coach, I’m here to provide personalized, compassionate support on your journey to lasting recovery. My role is practical and forward-focused. I help you reshape your relationship with food, body image, and self.
How Eating Disorder Recovery Coaching Helps
A coach is a powerful adjunct to your recovery team, complementing the work of therapists, dietitians, and other professionals by providing real-time, hands-on support. A huge difference in my approach is that I’m accessible between sessions—so you have encouragement and guidance when challenges arise in real time.
Together, we’ll set achievable goals, tackle daily obstacles, and celebrate every step of progress. I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore underlying issues, build resilience, and reconnect with your strengths, empowering you to move forward into a balanced, fulfilling life beyond the disorder.
